With this licence you can drive a moped (max 50 cccm), tractor, passanger car max 3500kg, and max 8 passengers.

In the theory part you have to take an exam within 9 months, and pass the exam within 1 year from the starting date of the theory course.
After you pass the theory exam, you have two years for the driving training.
Within the 2 years you can take maximum 5 driving exams.
1 driving lesson is 50 minutes long.
In Hungary the average number of driving lesson that is needed to pass the driving exam is 49 according to statistics.

What you need to have if you want to get this category:
• the age of at least 16,5 years
• passport or ID card
• residence permit
• Hungarian address card
• certificate of medical aptitude issued by a GP
• certificate of school visit (if you are student) or a degree higher than 8 elementary schools (in Hungarian)
• theory course and a successful exam
• practical training with the minimum of 30 driving lessons and 580 km driving

Natinalization

If you have a driving licence from a foreign country, and you live in Hungary for more than 1 year, you have to change your driving licence to a Hungarian one!
The countries of the EU acceot the Hungarian driving licence, but with an international driving licence you can drive anywhere.
In order to change your original driving licence,either you have to pay the fee only, or you have to take a theory exam, or a theory exam with a practical exam. You can get every information from the Governmental Hotline. You will get a decision from Central Document Office in Budapest, which includes the conditions for the changing. After you have this decision, we can register you, organise your exams, and we help in the preparation.
